Mag ik me even voorstellen

Ik ben Martin van Vugt (1954) en fotografeer meer dan 45 jaar. Ik ben begonnen in 1976. Van 1974 tot mei 2017 heb ik in de gezondheidszorg gewerkt en dat gecombineerd met fotografie. Een echte specialiteit heb ik niet.

In de tachtiger jaren hield ik me hoofdzakelijk bezig met sociale fotografie (Amsterdams Fotografen Kollektief - fotoboeken van demonstraties tegen kruisraketten 'Nederland zegt NEE' 1981 en 'Het blijft NEE' 1983) Daarna hoofdzakelijk reisfotografie, receptieboeken, enz. 

Sinds 2014 verzorg ik als bestuurslid de fotografie en vormgeving (posters, flyers en publiciteit) voor het toneelgezelschap 'Het Meertheater' in Hoorn e.o.

Sinds 2021 ben ik lid van fotoclub Fotovrienden West-Friesland (FVWF)

Op de site zie je een overzicht van recent werk. Ik probeer mijn foto's zo artistiek mogelijk te presenteren waarbij ik gebruik maak van verschillende fotobewerkingstechnieken.

Ik doe mijn best om de site regelmatig bij te werken met oud en nieuw werk. Wijzigingen geef ik door in de rubriek 'Laatse nieuws' Het heeft dus zin om de site af en toe te bezoeken.

May I introduce myself
 
I'm Martin van Vugt (1954) and photograph for more than 40 years. I started in 1976. From 1974 to May 2017 I worked in healthcare and combined that work with photography. I do not have a real specialty.

In the 1980s I was mainly engaged in social photography (Amsterdam Photographers Collective - photobooks of demonstrations against nuclear weapons in our country: 'The Netherlands says NO' 1981 and 'It will be NO' 1983) After that mainly travel photography, reception books, etc.

Since 2014, I have taken care of photography and design (posters, flyers and publicity) for the theater company 'Het Meertheater' in Hoorn.

Since 2021 I am member of photo club 'Fotovrienden West-Friesland' (Photo friends West Friesland)

On the site you will find an overview of recent work. I try to present my photos as artistic as possible, using different photo editing techniques.

I do my best to update the site regularly with old and new work. Changes can be found in the heading 'Laatste nieuws' (Latest News) So it makes sense to visit the site now and then.
